Step 1 |
Place the crate on a drop cloth (or cardboard) to prevent paint from getting on your table. |
Step 2 |
Use a wide angled brush to paint the outside and inside of the crate. Apply one thick coat and let dry. |
Step 3 |
Paint four wood doll heads to match. Apply a second coat as needed. |
Step 4 |
Once dry flip crate over and glue the painted wood doll heads to the bottom of the crate, one in each corner; then let dry. |
Step 5 |
Turn the crate on its side. Position the beads in a pattern. Apply glue to the corners of the crate where it will touch the beads and a small amount on the bead. Lay the bead back in place and repeat until all beads have been glued to the crate. Let dry. |
Step 6 |
For extra strength hold, flip the crate over, then run an additional line of glue along the bottom of all the beads and the crate intersection. |
