wire wrapped flower ring

Looking for a unique handmade gift or a simple flower jewelry statement (for yourself)? Try making this Wire Wrapped Flower Ring and find out just how easy it is to make!
Step 1

First, cut 15"-16" of wire.

Step 2

Now, slide one of the clear spacer beads from your flower strand onto the wire followed by a flower bead and another clear spacer bead.

Step 3

Lay the flower bead onto your ring mandrel at the size you want your ring and wrap both wire ends around the mandrel in opposite directions so they cross when you bring them back around to the front. Be sure to keep the clear beads flush on each side of the flower bead. Pull the wire tight where they cross.
TIP: You should have three ring bands wrapped around the ring mandrel.

Step 4

On the right side, pull the wire coming up from the left over and around to the right and wrap it tightly around the rings made in Step 3. Wrap it three times and cut the wire. Use your chain nose pliers to tighten up the wrap and push the wire end flush against the ring.

Step 5

Repeat Step 5 on the other side.
TIP: Your wraps should be against the clear beads which are right up against the flower bead, on each side. Use the image as a guide.

Step 6
Slide your ring back on the mandrel to re-shape, if needed.
