Specially formulated to enhance the characteristics and usability of Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colors, this slow drying medium is designed to help when painting in layers to maintain the "fat over lean" rule. The most commonly used oil medium, linseed oil reduces consistency and improves paint flow while increasing gloss and transparency and, like all Artisan mediums, it can be easily cleaned up with water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like It... Bought the Linsead oil to help my water Miscible oils flow without fogging, running or just loosing the color richness you get when thinning with water. I can still use dish soap and water for clean up, without the solvent smells. Great Stuff, I hope the whole line of miscible products gets a little more mainstream to help with availability. If you are currently using Acrylics and would like to try oils, this is a good way to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't go wrong with Linseed Oil Linseed Oil does its job makes the oil paint more pliable. Its found inside the tubes of paint to help it squeeze out the tube. A little of this stuff goes a long way.
