Loose hair
The brush is good for whitewashing canvas. It is thin so unlike the regular hardware store paint brushes, does not soak up a lot of paint thus minimizing wastage. Main issue was with hair coming loose and sticking to the canvas. Its a pain to remove them and touch up the affected areas.

super smooth but shed slightly
they feel incredibly soft and apply paints/varnishes really nice, but they do shed a bit so take care to pull loose pieces out before using them each time
