Step 1 |
Pour some resin into a small silicone cup. Add a few drops of white tint and mix well with a craft stick. Add more if needed. |
Step 2 |
Prop the silicone mould onto a craft stick or two so the top of the mould is slightly elevated. |
Step 3 |
Pour white resin into your mould until it is about 2/3 full. Tap the mould to make sure no air bubbles. |
Step 4 |
Cure the mould under the UV lamp for several minutes until completely cured. Cool for 1-2 minutes. |
Step 5 |
Pour a little more resin into a small silicone cup. Add a few drops of Gold tint and Gold flake filler, then mix well with a craft stick. Add more Gold drops if needed. |
Step 6 |
Pour Gold resin into the mould until full. |
Step 7 |
Repeat Step 4 then demould. |
Step 8 |
Attach a cap to the top of the pendant with e6000® glue. Set aside to dry. |
Step 9 |
Open a jump ring, slide on a lobster clasp and close the jump ring. Set aside. |
Step 10 |
Measure and cut 96" [243.8 cm] of transite. Fold the transite in half and attach to a close jump ring with a lark’s head knot. Add a dab of glue to the knot. |
Step 11 |
Hold the transite ends together and slide on a bead. Push the bead against the jump ring and let the glue dry. |
Step 12 |
Add about 20" [50.8 cm] of beads to the transite, slide on your resin pendant then repeat the same bead pattern, in the opposite direction, on the other half of the transite. |
Step 13 |
Tie the end to the closed jump ring with the lobster clasp with a secure knot. Thread the excess back through a few beads, then add a generous amount of glue and let dry. Trim excess transite. |
