Spring is in bloom with this rustic home décor sign. Create a floral watering can wire string art to decorate your home.

Print Project

Step 1

To prepare the wood surface, sand lightly, then stain wood. Make sure to allow enough time to dry completely (12-24 hours).

Step 2

TIP: Before you print be sure to size as desired.

Step 3

Place nail template at the bottom of your wood surface and hammer nails, equally spaced, along the template.
TIP: The long nose pliers are useful to hold the nails in place. Place a bead mat (or towel) under the surface to help reduce noise when hammering.

Step 4

Carefully remove paper template when finished adding nails.

Step 5

Wrap end of wire around one nail, to begin weaving to fill the shape.

Step 6

Weave wire in between nails and outline the shape to form a border. Continue to fill the middle of each shape in the design.

Step 7

Place flowers in the watering can design for a beautiful accent.
