valentine's day kids card

Make fun and easy Valentine’s Day cards with your kids using the font stencil that is included in the Crayola® paper pad.
Step 1

Step 1 Take a white sheet (or your favorite color) of paper from the paper pad and cut it in half. Now fold one of the halves in half to make your card base.

Step 2

Step 2 Cut a 5"x5" piece of red (or your favorite color) paper. Fold paper in half and cut out half of a heart shape using as much of the paper as possible. Now, cut a smaller half heart out of the middle of the larger heart. Open your hearts.

TIP: You now have one solid small red heart and one large heart with an open middle.

Step 3

Step 3 Glue the two hearts on the front of your card base.

Step 4

Step 4 Use markers to draw a design (or pattern) in the middle of the large open heart and finish with details, such as an arrow.

Step 5

Step 5 Add your sentiment to the smaller heart using the stencil and/or decorate the rest of your card.

Step 6

Step 6 Create a color border on the card by cutting one of the paper sheets in quarters and gluing on the inside of the card.
