tulip® ombré candy corn tote bag
Step 1 |
Project Note: Protect your working surface with a disposable table cloth (or trash bag). |
Step 2 |
Line your plastic bin with paper towels. Now, set your damp tote in the plastic bin on top of the paper towels. |
Step 3 |
Add warm water to the dye bottles and carefully shake until it’s completely dissolved. |
Step 4 |
Pour some dye into a disposable plastic cup. Use a large paintbrush to apply the dye onto the damp tote. Allow the dye to blend together. Let the dye soak in and then carefully flip over and repeat applying to the other side. Let the bag set 6-8 hours or longer for most intense colours. Fully rinse dyed tote in warm water until all extra dye is removed and water runs clear. |
Step 5 |
Wash and either air dry or machine dry. Iron to remove wrinkles. |
Step 6 |
Draw mini candy corn onto your tote with fabric markers. |
