tree scene christmas card
Step 1 |
Cut a piece of kraft cardstock to 10" x 7" [25.4 cm x 17.8 cm] then score and fold it to 5" x 7" [12.7 cm x 17.8 cm]. |
Step 2 |
Open the card flat and on the front flap, measure and draw a square 2½" x 2½" (6.35 cm x 6.35 cm). Cut the square out of the card front using a craft knife. |
Step 3 |
Cut a piece of deep red cardstock 3" x 3" (7.62 cm x 7.62 cm). Choose a sentiment and attach it to the acrylic stamp block. Tap the stamp in Gold ink, then press the stamp onto the red cardstock. Sprinkle with Gold embossing powder, tap off the excess then heat the image with your heat tool to create the emboss. |
Step 4 |
Using some small foam adhesive squares on the back side of the cut-out square, attach the red stamped square to the back of the opening so the sentiment shows on the front of the card. |
Step 5 |
Die cut two trees from the plaid paper with your Sizzix® machine and tree die. Adhere them to your card front. |
Step 6 |
Add washi tape borders to the top and bottom of the card. |
