Step 1 |
Cut one 8" [20.3 cm] piece of 18 gauge wire. |
Step 2 |
Use bead storage stack as a mandrel to create hoop component. |
Step 3 |
Cut eight (to ten) pieces of 12" [30.5 cm] of 26 gauge wire. |
Step 4 |
Cut two pieces of 24" [61 cm] of 26 gauge wire. |
Step 5 |
Use one of the 24" [61 cm] pieces of wire to wrap the right side of the pendant and the second piece to wrap the left side of the pendant. |
Step 6 |
Use the 12" [30.5 cm] pieces of wire to create the roots of the pendant. |
Step 7 |
Twist the root wire ends together to create the trunk of the tree. |
Step 8 |
Separate out the branches of the tree and place them in the general area that you want each branch. |
Step 9 |
Add chip beads to each branch and secure the branches to the edge of the hoop component with wire wraps. |
Step 10 |
Create short branches to fill in the open areas and coil the wire ends to hold beads in place. |
