Step 1 |
First, tape off the bottom half of a wood circle disk and paint the top half with Sliver Grey paint. Set aside to dry, then remove the tape. |
Step 2 |
Add another piece of tape a little below the grey line. Add another piece across the edge of the grey line. Paint the space between tapes with Classic Gold paint. Let dry. Add a second coat and let dry. Remove tape. |
Step 3 |
Turn your disk around and repeat Steps 1-2 on the other side. Make sure to paint the sides as well. |
Step 4 |
Punch a second hole in your wood shape with punch pliers. Use a bead reamer to sand (or smooth) the inside of the hole. |
Step 5 |
Make a bead drop with your rectangle howlite stone. |
Step 6 |
Make a bead link with your painted wood disk. |
Step 7 |
Carefully open the loop at the bottom, unfinished side of your disk, link it to the top of your howlite stone and close the loop. |
Step 8 |
Attach the linked pieces of your earring to your wood shape with a jump ring. |
Step 9 |
Attach a fishhook ear wire to the top of your wood shape with a jump ring. |
Step 10 |
Repeat Step 1-9 for a second earring. |
