Bullet/ art journal
The paper is thin. All art media I have tried bleed though the pages. I tried Vitoler fine line drawing pens, Artstills gel pens, PaperMate Ink Joy gel pens, and an uni-ball vision fine pen. The Sharpie, Mircon, Staedtler Calligraphy duo, and el tools writing pens all don’t bleed through the paper. The bullets do show through color pencil, markers, and gel pens.

The cover is pretty... the pages, not so much
I mainly purchased this dotted journal because it has my favorite color as the cover. The cover and the binding and the quality of the actual book are good, but the pages leave much to be desired. I used a gold Sakura Gelly Roll pen, Zebra Midliners, Paper Mate Ink Joy Pens, and Memento Inks on the first two pages, not really thinking about bleed through until I happened to turn the page and it was completely unusable. In fact, the only thing that DIDN'T show up on the opposite side was my washi tape and stickers. This is a shame, because usually Artist's Loft has good quality products.

Reliable work journal - on like my 3rd or 4th one
I really enjoy using these for meeting notes, diagramming, sketching ideas, and scribbling bits of code. It's sturdy enough I can toss it in my bag and carry it around work sites. The dots are unobtrusive visually. Some reviewers have mentioned bleeding, and I suppose if you're using marker-esque pens popular with bullet journalers, you may have that issue. However, with ballpoints and "drier" art pens I've experienced little-to-no bleeding/ghosting. I've gone through 3 or 4 over the last couple years, and am purchasing another 2, knowing I'll easily use both.

Perfect Entry to Journaling
I needed to move beyond pre-printed planners in order to keep track of my stitching in the various challenge groups I belong to. I figured a blank journal might work, but with my terrible art skills, I needed some help. This dot journal is the perfect entry vehicle, enabling me to try different spreads and even decide if I like bound journals at all.
This is a very nice low-cost entry vehicle for anyone wanting to try bullet journaling or creating a custom planner. I like using Pilot Frixion gel pens with it, no ghosting and they're erasable, perfect for this beginner. I'm still looking for my best planner/journal solution, but continue to use and enjoy this one while I search. It's been great for brainstorming ideas and listing different types of notebooks to research. I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

Great started journal.. but it bleeds :(
Well, for the price it’s a good buy. The pages are thin and ink will bleed through or ghost on the other side. I took pictures but cannot upload them. I used the Straedliner triplus fineliner pens.. gel pens would probably work best.

Great for bullet journaling
This was my first bullet journal and I love it. I think it's great for beginners and I can see myself continuing to use it. The pages aren't too thin, just test out your markers and pens on a test page to make sure they don't bleed.
