Great little candles
The light on these candles is a little more amber than I wanted, but I still really like them. The remote is easy to use and so far the battery life seems good. They have a vintage 1950s/1960s feel.
I deducted a star because I initially thought that setting the timer meant it would turn on at the same time every day. Not so! You use the remote to turn them on every time. The timer just tells them to turn off after 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. Guess I'm spoiled by the battery-operated string lights that have an auto-timer function.
I didn't use the suction cups and clips that came with the set. I was setting these in the window, and a fancy base wasn't necessary, so I made bases by shaping white polymer clay into a pile and smushing the candle into it. So when I baked the clay, I got bases that are custom fit to these candles.
