The coloring on the hook also seems to hold up longer than some other brands. All around great tool, would recommend!

I made the tip slightly more pointy like a knitting needle. I found the hook goes in a lot better that way. For anyone interested in making alterations, I used sandpaper grits in this order: 220, 400, 1000, 1200. I was able to shape and get a smooth surface.
