Paint a graphic sunrise with the perfect shade to accent your home or office. Use simple items to make the shapes and have fun!

Print Project

Step 1

Draw a line across on your wood plaque to divide the sun graphics from the water graphics.

Step 2

Set your round object over the line and trace to make the sunrise shape.
TIP: Find a household item that can be your circle shape to start the sunrise painting, like a clay pot or vase.

Step 3

Use a pencil to follow the curve of the sunrise and drawn a couple of layers.

Step 4

Use a pencil to make a wave graphic below the line. Follow the wave line and draw another layer.

Step 5

Paint the design as desired or use the image as a guide.
TIP: For best results you will need to paint two coats.
