Cricut Scoring Tool Falls Flat
This tool is great, but does not work well with the Cricut Explore Aire 2. Went to site for ideas or help and the suggestions the manufacturer posted would void the warranty. Very disappointing. It's a great asset if you can get it to work.

Does it's job
Does what it is supposed to do. It is not a deep score but it does make folding much easier. For textured cardstock it can be harder to see, but still works to make a weak point where the card will want to fold which is all you really need. I guess you could try duplicating your score line on top of itself so it scores the same twice for a deeper score.
I have also used it to score/deboss designs (such as a monogram/seal).
