Don't use for matted prints
Note that the space between the glass and the back will only accommodate a photo. One of the long sides of the backing has no hooks to grab b/c it's meant to fit into a slat built into the frame. You won't be able to tell this until you open the packaging and remove the backing

A rush order for custom framing
I had an order for a custom frame, for a picture of my husband and I together, which was all my husband wanted for Christmas. We learned a year ago that my husband has 2-4 years to live, so it was very important for me to have that gift for him. I was given a pick up date of December 17, which was the day we were flying back east for Christmas with our son and family. The wonderful lady that helped me said she would put a rush on to be ready on December 16. I called about it on December 15 and was told it was due in December 17. I calling again on December 16 and was told it was in but not ready. Again, a very nice lady said she would do everything possible to have it ready. I was able to pick it up late December 16 and give it to my husband. I am so grateful for what two of your wonderful employees accomplished for me. Many thanks to them both.

Watch out for Quality Control Issues
I bought this for a small wallet sized photograph. I had Michael’s do a custom mat and put it together.
It didn’t look quite right left to right - the mat was 1/8” wider on one side compared to the other. I took it right back and the frame shop fixed it. Turns out it was the frame. The mat was cut perfectly but the relief in the frame was different one side to the other. The shaved the mat and offset it so it looked right. A lot of work to use an inexpensive frame!
