Really shows off a prized football!
We received a very special (to us) signed football and wanted to showcase it nicely. This display case really does the trick. We actually exchanged the brown one we originally got for a black one after getting it home because we realized black would fit in better.

Perfect for a signed football

Not just for footballs!
I got this for a display case for some small items in my booth at an antique store. After removing the football holder (it's just stuck down with foam tape) and putting a piece of felt in the bottom, it was absolutely perfect. It protects them from dust and, more important, from being knocked off the back of the cabinet they sit on. It would be a perfect display for models, collectables, mementos, etc. And, I suppose, footballs. :)
