One has to be a bit patient when re-assembling the frame, and nothing more thick than a sheet of paper or a photograph an fit easily, but once you’re done it’s an inexpensive and nice-looking do-it-6yourself framing solution.

Clean look, but no safe way to hang.
Looks great and works well. Only two qualms are that no matter the size of frame, it seems to be short by a millimeter or two so in one dimension, and there’s no easy and secure way to hang!. This requires you to trim your art, or it’ll create an kink on the edge, and to either tape on a string/cable to hang, or trust your art to hang from the clips that are merely pressed in.
Overall, they achieve the minimal clean look I was going for.
