Wash shirt and leave damp. Lay out flat on covered work surface and smooth out wrinkles. |

Vertically fold shirt, like an accordion. |
| Step 3 |
Add rubber bands at random intervals as desired. |
| Step 4 |
Mix dyes according to package instructions. Apply dye colours in desired colour order to tied sections of shirt. |
| Step 5 |
Cover shirt with plastic and let set 6-8 hours. |
| Step 6 |
Remove bands and rinse shirt under running water to remove excess dye. |
| Step 7 |
Wash and dry shirt as fabric requires. |
