This sketch paper is a general purpose, heavyweight sketch paper intended for the practice of techniques or quick studies with any dry media. The fine tooth surface is ideal for quick, preliminary drawings with graphite and coloured pencil, charcoal, sketching stick or pastel. Each wire-bound pad features micro-perforated sheets for easy removal.

Too much tooth for finished drawings?
I am pleased overall with the tooth of the paper for pencil drawing and charcoal, that's what it's for, after all, but I admit that it's a bit lacking when it comes to inking or any colored pencil that shows the texture. I have to transfer any drawing that I want to complete out of the sketching stage onto a smoother finish like Bristol board. I need to investigate other papers for work beyond ideation.
