Good paper poor book
I bought this along with a ring bound sketch paper pad of the same size and i would recommend a ring bound version of this product as well(as the paper has fell out). Other than that its a good and cheap paper for charcoal.

Even though it is newspaper, it doesn’t feel overly cheap. Tears out of the pad with little to no rips. Doesn’t rip when using a sharpened pencil on it either. Good newsprint overall.

Great practice paper.
Used this paper for a class in Asian painting techniques. The surface was smooth and absorbent. It handles paint in a way that is similar to rice paper. It makes a great practice paper! Even though I was using water media, the sizing kept the paper pretty smooth. It only rippled a little from the ink.
