Step 1 |
On a blank card, draw a curvy line representing a stem with your pencil. |
Step 2 |
Open the card and position the front with the pencil drawing over a piece of Styrofoam®. |
Step 3 |
Use a needle and poke holes over the pencil marks leaving about a ¼" between each hole. |
Step 4 |
Once the holes are poked, you can erase the pencil marks. |
Step 5 |
Thread the needle with embroidery floss and hand-stitch the stems. |
Step 6 |
Now, cut small leaf shapes out of cardstock. To add a bit of definition to them rub the sides onto an ink pad and glue them to the ends of the stitched stems. |
Step 7 |
Hot glue the paper flower embellishments over the cluster of leaves. |
Step 8 |
Add a sticker for a greeting. |
Step 9 |
