Tired of graphite dust everywhere?
I had been meaning to grab one of these for a while, and now I regret not doing so sooner! The ability to choose between a blunt or sharp point and the barrel for catching graphite dust make this sharpener much more useful than the one attached to your lead holder. Keeps your hands and desk clean, and you get to use the collected dust like powdered graphite.
The one thing I would change is to add some instructions on the packaging. The two smaller holes were a mystery and I had to look it up to learn that you use those holes to pick the aforementioned blunt or sharp tips. You pick which tip you want using the little arrows by the holes, drop your lead in the hole as deep as it'll go, then grip the lead again right where it comes out of the hole. Stick your holder into the sharpener proper with that chosen length of lead, and you get a perfect point!

Had to Search the web on how to use this because it is different than normal pencil sharpeners, but a quick video was easy to find. It makes the lead much sharper than it would be just using the cap sharpener on the lead holder.

Must have tool for lead holders.
Lead sharpener. Does absolutely what it’s supposed to do. Gives a very good lstays connected well in my bookbag. I’d recommend using a plastic bag to keep lead shavings from going all over the place otherwise dump those shavings regularly. And

Great for what it is meant for
Its very good for what its meant for, ive used it to sharpen and then clean excess off my staedtler 2mm lead holder and whenever I need a sharp or somewhat blunt point, just wish it wasnt so expensive for just this one thing.
