Staedtler® FIMO® Soft Oven Hardening Modeling Clay, White is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection! I have been working with polymer clay for over 20 years now. Fimo is a harder clay and is geared more towards artists, who like to sculpt and work on smaller details. Softer clays are very difficult to keep details ie, sculpey, sculpey II. Fimo, Premo and Kato are the only brands to withstand the break test after baking. These clays are the strongest. To soften Fimo, using body heat or a heating pad on low, will help heat the clay to get it more pilable and get the plasticizers activated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really love this clay!! I really love this stuff. Been working with fimo exclusively since 1985. I was age 6. I make a lot of detailed floral canes. Clay is not too soft so cutting thin slices off the raw cane is gravy for me. It is cheaper than the 12oz blocks of fimo classic white. Add Michaels wonderful coupon codes combined with their storewide sales and this stuff is gold. I do not recomment this for kids under age 8 since fimo can run a little on the hard side and kids tend to lose interest and tire of conditioning clay, but that is the beauty of this stuff since it allows me to make those detailed canes I love so much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unhappy, too hard and too crumbly Bought as a gift for my son. Once he opened it and tried to use it, it was really hard and just crumbled. I bought him a white package and a black package and they were both the same, not even moldable! Very disappointed in this product

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easier on the hands and a nice clean bright white. It was easy to work with, but I prefer Kato because I like my pieces to be quite hard after baking. A pendant that I was sanding the back of literally crumbled in my hands. Maybe I need a lighter touch?
