Step 2 |
For the cover (Diagram A), cut cardstock to 8" x 2¾" [20.32 cm x 7 cm]. Score at 3¾" [9.5 cm] and 4¼" [10.8 cm]. |
Step 3 |
For the accordion piece for the inside (diagram B), cut the cardstock 5" x 2½" [12.7 cm x 6.35 cm]. Score every ½" [1.3 cm]. Fold on the scores, leaving the end flaps out like wings. |
Step 4 |
Glue the accordion folds together, leaving the flaps out, then glue the piece to the inside of the cover between the score lines. Fold the cover and crease on the scores. |
Step 5 |
To make the coin envelopes (diagram C), cut cardstock 5¼" x 2¾" [15.3 cm x 7 cm]. Score at ¼" [.635 cm] and 2¾" [7 cm], then turn the cardstock 90° and score at ¼" [.6 cm]. Follow the diagram for further cutting instructions. Fold in the flaps and adhere. Repeat for all of your coin envelopes. |
Step 6 |
Open the cover and adhere one envelope to each of the pleats. |
Step 7 |
To make the inserts, cut cardstock 2½" x 2¾" [6.3 cm x 7 cm]. Cut a strip of cardstock ½" [1.3 cm] x 1" [2.5 cm]. Fold in half and attach to the top, middle of each insert. |
Step 8 |
Embellish the pockets and the cover as desired. |
Step 9 |
Punch out a 1" [2.54 cm] circle using the punch and attach it to the front using a brad. Close the album and wrap twine around it and around the circle to secure. |
