Works for me ...
It should be specified that these are a mix of pieces; looped and not-looped. I had to think of this for a moment and realized, the purpose of non-looped coils is to prevent beads from shifting from the desired area of pendant/bead placements, say, in the center of a necklace or bracelet. So, they're not useless if you find the shifting to be a problem. I do; it drives me crazy having to reset my pendants throughout a day and put clasps to the back of my neck.
Thanks to the others for stating in their review that these are mixed. I'm sorry you didn't get what you want, but it's exactly what I need to prevent the sloppy looks of shifting of my necklaces. I didn't even know anyone made these until now. So YAY.

Not What We Needed
I will be bringing them back. Hard to work with and could not be used in our project.

Strong metal but no instructions included
The coils are made of a strong material so they hold up well but you definitely need the correct jewelry plier tools to open and close slash Titan on whatever type of cord you're using. There are no instructions included with the pack and even going on YouTube it's hard to tell which diameter cord should be used with this size coil. I ended up struggling using a set of slightly larger than needle nose pliers oh, it took forever, looked really sloppy, I hurt my fingers and ended up having to scrap the entire pack. I went back and purchased jump rings and a more simple box shape end cap closure

Ehhhhh
So all of these pieces were supposed to come with hoops but about half of them didn't which actually made most of these useless for me and a complete waste of money. Some of the ones that had hoops were impossible to separate that last loop to be able to attach anything so that took out another portion of what was usable. I have no intention of purchasing these again because you definitely don't get what you pay for.

Cord ends vs spring coils
My packages are labeled cord ends. The fact is, about half are cord ends and half are only coils without a loop. i do not understand what or if there is a use for the coils without the loop. So I am paying for a package labeled 72 pieces and am using only 38. The picture also shows some coils only. So why is it packaged as coil ends.

Usually very thrilled with Michael's....
Yes, I am usually very thrilled with the way I'm treated, helped and let's not forget the great coupons that come in the e-mail. But this last experience was a little down. I had a coupon that read 40% off Jewelry making supplies....this was very misleading, because I make alot of jewlery and try to get great deals when they come around. When I checked out though, with beading wire, fasteners, chain etc. I wasn't allowed the 40% off. The girl that helped me tried and tried to get it to except the coupon to no avail, she asked another cashier and she thought it was only for the tools to make jewelry with....well I just wish that it was clearer on the coupon. I was definitely disappointed..
