spider seed bead earring
Step 1 |
Thread two gray faceted beads onto a black headpin and make a simple loop at the top. |
Step 2 |
Cut four 8" [20.3 cm] pieces of wire. |
Step 3 |
Bend one of the wires to find the middle, then wrap it around the headpin between the two gray faceted beads. Arrange the ends so there is one pointing out to the left and the other to the right. |
Step 4 |
Repeat Step 3 for the remaining three wires. |
Step 5 |
Thread seed and bugle beads onto the wires. Use your round nose pliers to make tiny coils at the end and trim excess wire. |
Step 6 |
Bend and arrange the beaded wires into your spider’s legs. |
Step 7 |
Add a jump ring to the simple loop at the top of your spider and then add a second jump ring, including a fishhook ear wire, to the first jump ring. |
Step 8 |
Repeat Steps 1-7 for a second earring. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
