Step 1 |
Count five lengths from th end of the chain and open to remove the five links from the spool. |
Step 2 |
Before you close the link, add the loop on the bar piece of the toggle. |
Step 3 |
Cut a 12" [30.5 cm] piece of thread. Fold it in half and add to the link on the opposite end of the five with a lark’s head knot. |
Step 4 |
Hold the two strands together and add a collapsible needle. |
Step 5 |
String on your beads as desired (or as shown). |
Step 6 |
Remove the needle from the thread. |
Step 7 |
Remove three more chain links and add the loop from the oval part of the toggle and close the link. |
Step 8 |
Tie the link on the other end of the three to the bracelet with the excess thread. Tie as close as you can against the last bead. |
Step 9 |
Use the needle to tuck the thread into the last bead, then trim excess. |
Step 10 |
Add glue to the thread on each end of the beads. Let dry. TIP: The nozzle on the glue fits nicely inside the bead to add glue. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
