snowman christmas ornament
Step 1 |
Use a thin paintbrush to draw and fill in the silhouette of a snowman onto the front of your ornament with white paint. Repeat for a second (and third) coat if needed until white becomes solid and paintbrush strokes are less noticeable. Let dry completely. |
Step 2 |
Using the black paint, paint on a hat, but leave a gap to later add a red line to go across the front. Also, paint the eyes and smile. Let dry. |
Step 3 |
Blend Native Turquoise paint with a little white to create the shadow on the left side of your snowman silhouette. Let dry. |
Step 4 |
Use Flame paint to add a carrot nose. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
Use Piglet Pink paint to add cheeks and the first layer of a scarf, including the tassel fringe on ends. Let dry. |
Step 6 |
Now, with Cherry paint, fill in the red line gap on the black hat. Also, add the stripes to the scarf and dots at end of tassels and gloves. Let dry. |
Step 7 |
Add a vest with Rainforest green paint. Let dry. |
Step 8 |
Use Native Turquoise paint to outline the silhouette of the snowman and draw in his arms. Let dry. |
Step 9 |
Paint the plaid pattern on your snowman’s vest with Sand Bucket Green paint. |
Step 10 |
With Forrest Green paint, add holly leaves to the hat; then add three holly berries with the Cherry paint. Let dry. |
