snowflake mason jar
Step 1 |
Create a snowflake sticker with your Cricut® Machine and cut it out from black vinyl. TIP: Don’t have a Cricut®? Simply use a snowflake sticker! |
Step 2 |
Adhere your snowflakes to your Mason jar where desired. TIP: The stickers are a "mask", so after the jar has been painted and the stickers are removed, you will be left with a snowflake shaped "window". |
Step 3 |
Pour a small amount of white paint onto a paper plate (or paint palette). Add one layer of white paint onto your Mason jar and let dry. |
Step 4 |
Paint a layer of Robin's Egg Blue over the white paint. Let dry; then add a second coat of Robin's Egg Blue paint. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
Seal paint with a layer of Mod Podge® -- and let it dry, too. |
Step 6 |
Carefully peel off your snowflake stickers to reveal the glass beneath. TIP: Fill your jars with treats and then set your painted jar inside a treat bag, Wrap jute and lace around "neck" of the jar, tie in a knot and trim ends to desired length. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
