It is both springy and solid in it's ability to move paint and can be gentle when I need a delicate touch on a painting. I like the feel of this brush and it's become my favorite for doing lines. It's my go to when I'm painting tree branches and putting in detail highlights. It holds it's edge better than other brushes and it makes it really easy to finish a branch with a nice, tapered end.

This is the 3rd one I've bought in the past 4 years, as the bristles have a tendency to spread out and make the brush unusable for fine details. I plan to be more careful with my new one and use the old ones when scrubbing so my new brush will last longer. I rarely paint a picture without the angle brush. I particularly like the sharp angle and smooth bristles on this brand over others of a similar price.
