Step 1 |
Prepare cookie dough following recipe instructions. |
Step 2 |
Cut out flower, egg and bunny-shaped cookies with cutters from your cookie cutter set. Bake and cool. |
Step 3 |
Prepare icing following the Royal icing recipe instructions. |
Step 4 |
Tint 1/3 cup icing (each) green, light brown, dark brown and blue, then ½ cup orange using colour combinations provided. Tint 1/3 cup icing ivory. Reserve remaining icing white. |
Step 5 |
Thin green, light brown, blue, ivory and half of orange icing to count of 18. |
Step 6 |
Prepare five decorating bags, separately, with thinned green, light brown, blue, ivory and orange icing. Reserve remaining orange icing for later step. |
Step 7 |
Cut ¼" [0.64 cm] off tip of each bag and outline and fill in cookies as desired. Let dry overnight, 8 to 10 hours. |
Step 8 |
Prepare three decorating bags with tip 1. Fill separately with full strength white, dark brown and remaining orange icing. |
Step 9 |
Pipe details on blue cookies with white icing. |
Step 10 |
Using dark brown and orange icing, pipe vines and flowers on ivory cookies. |
Step 11 |
Pipe centre of orange flowers with dark brown icing. Let the icing on the cookies set, about 8 hours. |
