Easily resolved issue
We absolutely love these pens but have gotten a few that write as if they are running out of ink when there is plenty left in the pen. I have had two that I have given up on and thrown away out of frustration. I did reach out to Sharpie about the quality of the pens and they sent replacements that work well!

I love the bold print it makes but I have had some problems with smearing. Also it is a little tricky removing the plastic from the tip when you first use the pen.

Good but not waterproof
These pens write very smoothly, but I was disappointed with how they run. They don’t have the permanent marker attributes where you can marker over them and the line doesn’t budge. Still great pens, but be aware that they aren’t permanent.

Overall good.
Got these for my nursing job as I need a gel pen that does not smear- the ink flow is finicky (sometimes you have to scribble on a piece of paper to get the ink flowing) on these that’s why I give a 4/5- otherwise they’re great!

Very disappointed!
I could not wait to try these as I am a Sharpie fan. I was very disappointed in the performance of the 0.7mm gel pens. The pen does not glide across the paper at all and the the writing is blotchy. Sadly, I cannot recommend them.

Terrible
I bought a four pack of these pens and they are terrible. All four pens from the pack skip and over all don't write very well. When put into the pen pocket the constantly leak/bleed. I bought these because I love sharpie markers even though my favorite pens (Pilot G-2) has never failed me. I will be going back to my G-2's.

Great Pen - But lacking in refill options
So I bought these pens months ago. I happen to love Sharpie products, pens especially. BUT I do a lot of writing for work, and I write it in RED. Unfortunately there is no RED S Gel pen refill. THIS IS A REAL BUMMER!!!! It's a lot of waste and kind of pricey to just continue to buy whole complete pens, when all I need is the refill. I've never had this problem before, because I don't typically use pens up so quickly! But it would SUPER if Sharpie would sell refills for all ink colors.

Pen stopped clicking
I've had the pens for 5 weeks and BOTH stopped clicking...the best I can do is force the pen tip out and now it's suck that way. At least it's usable. ...and the pen writes fairly nicely.

These pens are well balanced and designed nicely. Sadly the gel skips in them which takes away from the quality of the product. Sharpie if you would solve the skipping problem you would have a five star pen.

Best pens I have used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sharpie Gel Pen has to be the best gel pen I have ever used. The colors are dark and it does not smear or smudge. It writes smooth and does not drag. This is by far the best gel pen I have used. I would definitely recommend Sharpie Gel Pens to anyone that doesn't like gel pens for these reasons and to anyone looking for a decent pen.

Love this pen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using the Sharpie Gel pen and it is my new favorite pen! I love how the ink flows and looks consistent throughout my writing. I also love how quickly it dries so I don’t have smudges on my paper. I haven’t had any issues with ink drying out or getting clogged which is a big plus. I would definitely recommend these pens!
