seed bead flower earrings
Step 1 |
Measure and cut an 18" length of wire. |
Step 2 |
At the bottom curve of one long oval ear wire, wrap one end of your wire about three times. Slide on seed beads to fit across the opening of the bottom of the teardrop earring then wrap the wire around the ear wire about three more times (opposite the first wrap). |
Step 3 |
Add more beads to fit back across the opening of the earring, just above the first row. Wrap the wire three times around the side. |
Step 4 |
Repeat Step 3 with more beads. Change the color as you work to design a floral image within the beads. Work bead all the way to the top. You will fill the inside opening of the earring with your design. |
Step 5 |
After your last wire wrap, trim the excess wire. |
Step 6 |
Carefully open the loop at the bottom of a fishhook earring, slide the hole at the top of your teardrop onto the loop, then close the loop. |
Step 7 |
Repeat Steps 1-6 for a second earring. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
