Scorch Marker is a wood-burning craft marker that does just that! It's a marker that contains a unique heat-activated liquid. Draw your design. Apply heat. Watch it burn. The blend of nontoxic compounds provides a safe way to wood burn. Once liquid is exposed to sufficient heat, it will burn into wood. When the formula is exposed to heat, it triggers a reaction causing the wood to burn where you drew. The Scorch Marker works on all kinds of surfaces including wood, kraft paper, cardboard, cardstock, and denim. This wood burning marker includes two tips, a bullet tip, which is a stiffer tip for increase control and precision, and a foam brush, which can be used for a wider variety of applications.

But I saw it for a good price on Amazon and tried it out. Initially I was very disappointed because nothing was showing up and then I realized that I wasn't holding the heat gun close enough. Boy was I shocked when I figured thay out!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great but not for all uses Although this pen has potential, it requires a lot of heat to produce a dark result. The heat gun can scorch the surrounding wood. If you don't seal the wood after scorching as recommended, you can spread the burnt part onto other parts. Overall, if can be very useful if this is you plan to seal your product. Wish it came with a thinner tip option.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pizza paddle semi fail Not that The product wasn’t good because when I put the heat gun to it it did burn.. but when I used it on wood it ended up running so the lines did not come out crisp When I used a stencil and for the price I could have just bought ammonium chloride on Amazon to mix with the thick it and water. It was a Christmas gift it came out only OK on a wooden pizza peel.
