Fun! And pretty durable
I am not sure of the recommended ages but it was little challenging for my 5 year old to put together on his own. Some pieces were hard to put in place. Otherwise he loves it and is proud of his creation!

Fun project with a few issues
I helped my son do this project . While he was very engaged and loved the finished product there were a few issues. We ran out of the yellow paint that they gave us to paint the ship. We had more yellow paint at home so it was not a big issue. I also had to cut some of the connecting pieces to make them fit because they were too big to fit in the precut slits. Not a huge problem but a little frustrating.

Great Purchase
It was fun project for my son who is in 7th grade. This project gave him an opportunity to exercise patience, practice fine motor skills, and explore his artistic abilities. It was not a difficult built but seeing him carefully colored the different pieces and putting them together into aesthetically decoration, it was a worthwhile purchase.

Pieces not cut correctly, don’t fit together
The pieces are not cut to fit together. It was difficult to put together because of that.

Not too hard to get together, but there wasn't enough paint for both sides of the pieces and it breaks pretty easily.
