Step 1 |
Mix 50 ML of clear casting resin according to package directions. This will make enough resin for the open geode coaster. |
Step 2 |
Split resin into three mixing cups and create the following: |
Step 3 |
Place mould on a protected, non-stick surface and sprinkle Gold glass glitter around the hole in the middle of the mould. Pour clear resin almost filling the mould. |
Step 4 |
Pour antique Gold and then white resin mixtures around the outer edge of the mould. |
Step 5 |
Let the resin geode cure for 24 hours. |
Step 6 |
Remove from mould and use a Gold paint pen to highlight the edges of the coaster. Tilting the chisel tip on its side and running it around the edges will help to achieve the small amount of Gold on the top of the coaster. Let paint dry completely. |
