Just like its name implies, this uniquely textured yarn is great for knit or crochet dishcloths! Scrubby cloths clean dirty pots easier than cotton yarn dishcloths. Since Scrubby is polyester, it will dry a lot quicker! It exfoliates as well, so you can use it for washcloths.

Like the variety of colors for crocheting scrubbys. Not always easy to find where to put the crochet hook. A challenge but worth the effort. Would llike some more ideas of things to make.
Also appreciate when Scrubby Yarn goes on sale.

Yet, the kids loved making Furbees.
I tried making a star trek Furbee for my sink. It turned out cute and creepy. Think feeding gizmo after midnight. After three to four washings, it started to look like Brunhilda invaded the corner of our sink hanger. If you are going to knit a wash towel; the tighter the knit the better. Otherwise, you will relive the 80's and the critter that was fed after midnight.

It is fun to use as a border for a dishrag with the dishrag yarn of choice but I find it very difficult to use it for a dishrag or scrubbies by itself.

TRULY SCRUBBIEST!
Scrubby yarns are absolultely the best for dishcloths
. They last a very long time and can be washed in the dishwasher. Sometimes it's challenging to find the next hole but that can be fixed. Haven't found anything better than Red Heart Scrubby Yarn in solids or multi colors.
