red and white pick tree arrangement
Step 1 |
Cut floral foam to fit snuggly inside the container you choose. If needed, use some hot glue to keep it secure. |
Step 2 |
Now, hold a small wooden dowel next to the container and a small floral foam cone to determine the length you will need; then cut to size with the wire cutter. Insert the dowel into the cone base and push it into the floral foam. |
Step 3 |
Cut the greenery pieces off the fir picks. Attach them to the outside of the cone with the fullest part facing down. To hold these in place, add hot glue to the fir piece and then use a greening pin as reinforcement. Continue around the cone until its mostly covered. |
Step 4 |
Next you will add the balls and berries. Cut the balls off the picks leaving a short stem. Add hot glue to the stem and push it into the cone. Do the same with the berry clusters until you like the fullness. |
Step 5 |
The final touch is adding cut pieces of the berry picks and positioning them to flare downward. |
