Step 1 |
Cut a 4" [10.2 cm] piece of heat resistant tape. Be careful to keep the tape free of fingerprints and debris. |
Step 2 |
Place your metal shape onto the tape. Smooth the tape against the back of the shape to make sure it is well bonded with the tape. |
Step 3 |
Pour some resin into a silicone cup. Add a drop of blue and red dye into the resin and mix well. Add some glitter and mix well. |
Step 4 |
Pour a little of the mixture into the top of your metal frame and heat with a heat lamp. |
Step 5 |
Add more resin to the cup. Mix well and pour into the metal frame from the top down a little past the middle. Heat. |
Step 6 |
Repeat Step 5 and fill the rest of your metal frame. Heat with your heat lamp. |
Step 7 |
Remove the tape on the back of your metal frame and set aside. |
Step 8 |
Measure and cut 48" [121.9 cm] of nylon cord. |
Step 9 |
Slide your resin pendant onto the cord and move it to the middle. |
Step 10 |
Thread both ends of the cord through a large ceramic bead and an amethyst bead. Tie an overhand knot in the cord. |
Step 11 |
Drop one of the cords and work with just one side. |
Step 12 |
Thread two champagne, three amethyst, one rhinestone bead and one purple Jasper stone onto the cord. |
Step 13 |
Use the knotter tool to add a knot into the cord. Add ten more purple Jasper stones with knots in between. |
Step 14 |
Add more glass beads to the cord until you reach desired length. |
Step 15 |
Repeat Steps 12-14 for the other side. |
Step 16 |
Tie the ends in a double overhand knot and add a dab of glue for an extra hold. Let dry. |
