Artists Loft Professional Grade Is That.
Yes, the store brand “Artists Loft” professional grade gesso is a nice, covering, affordable gesso. I pick up canvases at thrift stores (and sometimes off the road) to reuse. I just used this gesso on a large canvas with a lot of dark paint on it. It went on smoothly, had great coverage, and dried with very little brushstroke showing. Very please.
