Awesome brush as you work bigger!
Part of my personal challenges as an artist is to tackle larger canvases. As I started to increase my canvas size from small to medium sizes, and beyond, I found a huge need for a larger brush both to cover larger areas, but also for when experimenting with abstract expressive pieces. The length is great, the brush is fairly wide, and the weight feels distributed nicely.
It's held up very well to oil after at least a dozen projects. I've used some (different quality) brushes that start to harden or don't do well with the demands of oil paints after just a few sessions. But the paint seems to come right off this brush when cleaned properly. And even though it might stiffen if I don't use it for a couple days, you can warm it back up by seasoning it in some oil prior to painting and it goes right back to it's brushy self!
I really like the weight, especially for more playful pieces, but this is more of a tactile thing.

Nice well made brush!
Nice fairly stiff synthetic fiber filbert brush. Great with my water mixable oils. Size 2 is not a small brush, unfortunately it is the smallest Michael’s carries. Great size for general smaller paintings. Will still need size 0 for details.

Nice oil painting g brush
I bought this for plein air miniature oil painting in an altoid tin (google it) it works very well. Holds its shape and cleans up nicely. Totally recommend it. I cut an inch off the handle so it could fit in my kit.

Better quality than brushes I’ve used in the past
