Description
Frame your cherished photograph yourself using a ready-made frame and this pre-cut, double photo mat. The mat adds a layer of air between your photo and the glass to keep the photo from sticking due to humidity and age, while the acid-free properties of the mat will not yellow or destroy the photo over time. The mat is cut at an angle so that the inner edge of the mat shows.

This Mat gives a good color contrast to my pic.
Fits frame well, looks nice from a distance. Color was most important feature.

Matting can be a dicey purchase when buying ready-made pieces, but the Studio Décor double matting pieces look great in my frames.

Measure carefully!
Just be aware that the opening of the inside mat is not 5" x 7"--that is the opening of the outside mat. With the double mat, the opening is about 1/2" less in total (4-1/2" x 6-1/2")

Buyer Beware
Beautiful mats, but all four mats I ordered online had small indentations on the front face of them that you can't see until removing the cellophane. The good news is they responded quickly and offered to issue a refund. The bad news is I'll have to physically go to Michaels and inspect mats carefully as I'm afraid to order them online now.
