pixel hearts t-shirt
Ever wonder what life would be like as a videogame character? Give yourself a health bar with this Pixel Hearts Tee using Siser® EasyWeed® heat transfer vinyl (HTV)!
Step 1 |
Click here for the design and upload into Leonardo Design Studio™. If needed, size the design as desired to it your surface. |
Step 2 |
Place the black EasyWeed® on the cutting mat with the carrier side facing down. Load cutting mat into your Juliet™ cutter and mirror the design. |
Step 3 |
In Leonardo™ Design Studio, select the pre-set cut settings for your material and cut. Remove vinyl from cutting mat when complete. Repeat for additional layers. |
Step 4 |
Use scissors to cut the design from each HTV roll to save any unused material; then use your weeder tool to remove all the excess material around and inside your design so you are left with just the reversed design on the clear plastic carrier sheets, which are slightly sticky. |
Step 5 |
Set your heat press to 305°F [150°C] and place the shirt on the bottom platen. Pre-press the shirt for a few seconds to remove any wrinkles or moisture. |
Step 6 |
Arrange the black HTV layer as desired on the shirt. Cover with parchment paper and tack down (press for 1-3 seconds), then peel the carrier while still hot. |
Step 7 |
Repeat Step 5 for the remaining layers, placing each layer down and pressing one at a time. When the pixel hearts are complete your new shirt is ready to wear. |
