Step 1 |
Make sure mould is clean, dry and free of dust. |
Step 2 |
Pour enough clear resin to cover the bottom of the mould cavity directly from the bottle. |
Step 3 |
Now, add hot pink holographic pieces to the clear resin as desired. |
Step 4 |
Heat under a UV lamp for one light cycle (or place in direct sunlight for about 15-20 minutes) to cure this first layer. |
Step 5 |
Pour some UV resin into a silicone mixing dish and a few drops of white dye into the resin. Mix well. |
Step 6 |
Pour the white resin into the cavity until full. |
Step 7 |
Cure the mould under the UV lamp (or in direct sunlight) for several minutes until completely cured. Cool for 1-2 minutes. De-mould the shape by popping it out of the mould. |
Step 8 |
Mark extra where extra holes are needed to attach to the hammered half circle metal shapes. Place the shape on top of the resin shape and align the middle hole on the connector to the hole at the top of the shape. Mark the hole and either side. |
Step 9 |
Use the hand drill to add additional holes to the shapes. |
Step 10 |
Attach the shapes to the metal connector with jump rings. |
Step 11 |
Carefully open the loop at the bottom of a fishhook earring, slide through the hole at the top of the metal connector and close the loop. |
