picture window pop-up card
Step 1 |
First, download the design template here from Silhouette Studio. |
Step 2 |
Open the template in Silhouette Studio for the base of the pop-up card. |
Step 3 |
Once the design is complete, choose two different sheets of paper: one for the background and one for the foreground. Stick the foreground paper to the top left corner of the cutting mat and load into the Silhouette machine. |
Step 4 |
Go to the ‘Send’ screen in Silhouette Studio and make sure Tool 1 is set to cardstock, plain. Make sure the Silhouette machine is selected at the bottom and hit send. |
Step 5 |
When the Silhouette is done cutting out the card, remove it from the cutting mat. Be very careful not to tear anything when removing. |
Step 6 |
Pre-fold all the perforated lines. Fold the background sheet of paper in half. Spread a thin layer of rubber cement on the bottom of the foreground piece of paper and situate it onto one side of the background paper so that the middle folds match up. After that has started to dry, do the same with the back of the upper part of the foreground paper. Attach to the background and fold to make sure everything is lined up. |
Step 7 |
Trim off any paper that doesn’t line up on the edges when the card is dried. |
