Print Project

Step 1

Carefully remove glass pane from the frame.

Step 2

Cut a simple heart template out of a sheet of scrap paper as a guide. Centre the heart template on the glass pane and start tracing the outer edges of the heart with your large brush and craft paint.

Step 3

Continue to fill in the first layer from the heart outline out toward the edges of the glass pane. Let dry.

Step 4

Apply a second coat of paint. If needed, apply another coat until you end up with an opaque “shadow” box, allowing the layers to completely dry in between.

Step 5

Let the painted glass cure for as long as possible. Then, place desired photograph or artwork from your kids and reassemble the frame.
