Print Project

Step 1

Use a pencil to draw the letter that you want to reveal on a sheet of paper. Make sure it fits in the middle of the canvas; then cut it out.

Step 2

Mix a small amount of the red and yellow paint to make orange. Mix a small amount of the yellow and blue paint to make green. Mix a small amount of the blue and red paint to make purple.

Step 3

Glue your cut out letter to the middle of a canvas.

Step 4

Pour a quarter size amount that is evenly spaced of each paint across the top of the canvas in rainbow order.
TIP: The order of the rainbow from left to right is red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.

Step 5

Use a craft stick to pull (or drag) the paint down the canvas.
TIP: Use multiple craft sticks to make sure that you don’t mix the paint.

Step 6

Immediately pull up the paper letter to reveal the blank canvas underneath.
TIP: You want to do this quickly so you do not give the glue enough time to set.
