paint pour fall floral wreath
Step 1 |
Protect your workspace with a disposable table cover. Set out five disposable cups on top of the table cover and wear disposable gloves. |
Step 2 |
Place a piece of masking tape over the holes from the top side of your wood wreath form. |
Step 3 |
Set the wood wreath form on four disposable cups so the paint can roll off the wreath base onto the table cover. |
Step 4 |
In the fifth cup, layer four colours of paint then lightly blend it by rotating the cup in your hand. |
Step 5 |
Pour the paint over the wreath base. If needed, pick it up to move the paint around to your desired liking and the wreath is completely covered. Place it back on the cups. Let the wreath sit untouched for 4-6 hours. |
Step 6 |
Now, spray a coat of UV-Resistant coating over the paint poured wreath and let it dry overnight. |
Step 7 |
Bundle two bushes together and trim the stems so they are 2" - 3" [5.1 cm - 7.6 cm] long. Lay on the wreath and use a bit of hot glue to hold them in place. Next, wrap jute around the wreath until the stems are covered. |
Step 8 |
Bend some of the stems so they can drape as in nature. |
Step 9 |
Glue a piece of jute to the top backside of the wreath making a hanger. |
